Driving in Oman
I chose this title because it is a big issue in our country . every day 2 or 3 people are killed in car accidents . also many people being injured every day in Oman . Unfortunately it seems nobody listening and nobody wants to take responsibility . There are many children who have lost their parents and there are many parents who have lost their sons or their daughters . Still others consider the hospital as their new home because their injuries require a very long hospital stay to be cured.
Let’s start with some background. there many causes of traffic accidents . For example ,driver fatigue, non-compliance with traffic regulation, reckless driving, equipment failure and weather conditions . Most of these causes can be avoided simply only by paying attention while you are driving and by following the traffic system.
Another thing that people should do . All drivers have to chick their cars before moving . Also people should take this issue seriously to reduce car accidents . Adding to those point Royal Oman Police should take this issue as a first problem to be solved , also they should be more strict for those people who consider driving as a playing game.
Moving on to the effects of accidents , such as, health effects , social effects and economic effects. Pointing to a social effects , what if a little child lose his parents , who are going to look after this child ?
Finally , I would like to say “life is life” and you have it only once . Please, please do not lose your life because of silly mistake when you can avoid this by paying attention while driving . Think of your parents , your children , your friends and your life while getting to your car.
